CASH MONEY
As the ASSI team dug deep into Rick’s company they discovered several opportunities for improvement. First things first the CASH. Like many small businesses, cash is king, getting taken for a ride from another IT company and spending too much is just not cool, man. A SERVER NO LONGER FIT TO SERVE
Other IT companies love to simply replace things. That flux capacitor is too old, let’s swap it out. Your mouse is no longer supported, it’s time to replace it. When we dug into Rick’s machines, we identified a server that wasn’t really doing anything other than sucking up electricity and flashing some blinky lights. The previous IT company wanted to replace it with a bigger, faster, stronger machine that would also not serve a purpose for $5,000. ASSI simply retired it.

Routers, switches, and firewalls, oh my. One of the IT challenges that Rick and his growing business had was connectivity and speed to the Interwebs. We identified some hardware challenges and replaced some very outdated hardware that enhanced and sped up the company’s throughput.
